BURGLARY - SURBITON HILL PARK 6/2 A residential burglary was reported on SURBITON HILL PARK on Friday 6th Feb, and took place at some point between 1020 - 2100. The suspects entered by forcing a rear patio door. The resident of the a neighbouring property noticed a rear bathroom window was open so it's possible that the same suspects attempted to enter their property too. The investigation is ongoing, so if you have any related information please call 101, quoting ref CAD 8088/06FEB.
ATTEMPTED THEFT FROM VEHICLES - CHILTERN DRIVE & QUEENS DRIVE Yesterday (Tues 9th Feb) Police were called by a number of local residents regarding a male seen trying car door handles in an attempt to gain entry. This sort of incident usually takes place during the early hours of the morning, so stood out particularly as it happened during the day in the late afternoon.
The male was seen on QUEENS DRIVE at around 5:20/5:30pm and on CHILTERN DRIVE at around 5:40pm. To our knowledge he was unsuccessful on these attempts.
The suspect was described as a black male aged 30-40 years old, around 6ft tall wearing a distinctive light coloured hooded winter jacket with reflectors on the front and back.
If you witness anyone acting suspiciously around vehicles in the area please call 101, or 999 if you see them in the act of attempting to enter a vehicle. For vehicle related crime prevention advice visit Keeping vehicles safe | Crime prevention | Metropolitan Police
